By creating the SIMONE snare, we want to pay tribute to Simone Boudard, the "S" of ASBA. Its shell, made of 6 horizontal plies of premium American maple, offer exceptional musicality.
“I really like the look, the finishes; the shells, I think they’re very beautiful... The easiness of tuning in all contexts, either on stage, in the studio, on TV... They are versatile drums, which can really fit into any musical style”
“I knew it was her from the first time I hit it. It’s easy to tune and the strainer is really strong. It’s saved me a lot of time on tour and it’s a real pleasure to hear it every night... “
“I really appreciate the sound of course... and also the lightness; the easiness of tuning and the versatility (for me who goes from jazz to rock it’s perfect). It’s an instrument that “sounds” ... you can throw out the moongels and let it express itself. »
